Amish Garages Our Amish carpenters have converted the design of their A-frame storage shed to create secure and attractive single and double-stall garages. Base price covers building your garage out of White Pine, milled by the Amish, a shingled roof, and a wooden floor, reinforced to easily bear the weight of a full-size car or truck. Our double stall garages are built and delivered in 2 sections, like a modular home, then attached together at your location. Considerations when purchasing a pre-made Amish Garage or Outbuilding Clearance height of trees, wires, and bridges enroute to your location Buildings over 12 feet wide require a special permit to transport as well as an escort vehicle Length of building vs. length of delivery truck Adequate road to the delivery site, as well as room for navigation of the delivery truck Proper foundation for garages and other large, heavy structures Zoning permits required by local ordinance These conditions may prohibit delivery of a pre-made garage or outbuilding to your site. If necessary, our Amish carpenters will build your garage, shed, or outbuilding on-site. However, this is more time-consuming, and thus more expensive, due to travel time (by horse & buggy) and transporting all the necessary tools and materials to your site.
